Urban Pase Movement - Lhokseumawe

The First people that I knew within hip-hop in Lhokseumawe(Aceh) was "Wawan a.k.a Waka Timpham", and it was about 8 years ago. He was one of rappers from Aceh that introduced hip-hop culture to public. He wrote a rap song in Acehnese, which brought him to a fame at that time.


Our Friendship had a mission to progress hip-hop in Aceh.

Until now, hip-hop in Lhokseumawe is still a trend, and  many people has learnt about this culture, thus young generations in lhokseumawe have something to do every day like practicing bboy,  composing rap song, beatbox, grafitti, and even creating a hip-hop shows. 

17/10/2015 PBC (Piasan Break Crazy) is one of the bboy crews in Lhokseumawe which worked together with the other hip-hop crew "Cafe Tetap Semangat" to hold a street bboy battle & bboyworkshop at Labi-Labi Station Lhokseumawe. That workshop turned out to be well, everybody had fun out there, and enjoyed it very much.

Dekdi, Ibal and I were the judges of the bboy battle, and there were 30 bboys joined the battle, there were two categories (1 on 1 bboy Biginner and 1 on 1 bboy Advance). 

Congratulations to all the winners, hope you guys can learn something from that battle. 

The event started at 3pm, and it began with my workshop which took two hours, and there were about 25 people there. I was so happy to share my knowledge to all of people who came there. 

I like all the bboys in there, they have strong spirit, they were in good rules, they enjoyed the cypher and battle.
